I read your answer about prayer whilst doing surgery or afterwards. I work as a doctor and the day is very short in Canada during the winter; Maghrib comes at 5 p.m. Hence the time between the prayers is very short and I do not know how the surgeon can do his work when this time is very short. Hence I think it is better to make the prayers up afterwards. What is your opinion on that?

A brother and I entered the musalla of our university during the time of zuhr and found one brother praying. Thus we joined him withvthe intention to pray zuhr behind him, but he didnt utter any takbeer or tasmee loudly (as a imaam should do). Nevertheless we did our best to follow him and finished our prayer as ma'mooms (when he made tasleem, we got up and made up for what we missed). Unfourtunatly we couldn't ask him why he did so. Is our prayer valid?
